Doug Dodson is an FAA certificated flight instructor with ratings for airplanes (single and multi-engine land), instrument (airplane) and gliders. He holds an ATP certificate and has over 8000 hours of non-airline flight time including 3500 hours of instruction given. He is a former Chief Instructor for a part 141 flight school at Edwards AFB CA.
Doug also holds an FAA Mechanic certificate for Airframe and Powerplant with Inspection Authorization. He built a Glasair II-S FT and has flown it for over 1300 hours throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean.
He is a former Designated Pilot Examiner for Private and Commercial certificates with Single Engine Land ratings and the Instrument-Airplane rating.
